The Manistee 4-H Livestock Council and the participating 4-H Youth recognize the commitment of our Buyers & Sponsors at our Annual 4-H Livestock Auction. Without their renewed commitment every year, we would not be able to provide this experience for our youth.
Here we provide recourses and information to directly support local livestock project youth.
Buyer & Sponsor Resources
There are a number of ways to be recognized as a Buyer or Sponsor that supports Manistee, Benzie & Lake County 4-H. Learn more about the ways you can support livestock project youth in your community!
The Traditional Buyer
The Traditional Buyer is one who supports 4-H Livestock Youth by purchasing a project animal at Auction every year.
Traditional Buyers can opt to have their purchase processed for meat for themselves or food pantry donation, or can offer the animal up for Resale at Auction.
The Buckle Sponsor
The Buckle Sponsor supports the Ribbon & Trophy Fund in the "Give a Buckle, Get a Buckle" way. Buckle Sponsors pay a flat $300 sponsorship and receive a yearly Custom Manistee 4-H Belt Buckle while providing our Market Livestock Grand and Reserve Grand Champions belt buckles as prizes.
The Banner Sponsor
The Banner Sponsor is great for businesses who want to support local 4-H and advertise their business at the same time! Purchase or Renew your 4' x 4' vinyl barn ad here! These vinyl banners hang in our Sale Barn during Fair Week and are good for two years. Purchase a new ad for $120 (production cost included) or Renew an ad for $100.
